  • Taylor Frankie Paul voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility for her recovery.
  • Her family and friends are focused on protecting the welfare of her children.
  • The admission follows recent domestic dispute investigations involving her former boyfriend.

American reality television personality and social media influencer Taylor Frankie Paul voluntarily entered a rehabilitation centre following a serious suggestion from her medical professional. The 32-year-old internet personality checked into the facility after individuals within her immediate social circle encouraged her to seek professional assistance. An anonymous source confirmed that Paul remains fully committed to her personal recovery during her voluntary stay at the treatment facility.

PEOPLE reported the details regarding the rehabilitation centre admission, noting that friends and family members are primarily focused on protecting the welfare of her three young children. Paul shares her eight-year-old daughter Indy and six-year-old son Ocean with her former husband Tate Paul. She also shares custody of her two-year-old son Ever with her former boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

The decision to enter the facility follows a recent domestic assault investigation involving Paul and Mortensen regarding an altercation that occurred between February 24 and February 25 of this year. During the active investigation period, TMZ published a video clip originating from a 2023 incident that depicted Paul screaming and throwing chairs at Mortensen while their young son was present. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was previously taken into police custody in 2023 for reported domestic violence.

The reality star subsequently pled guilty in abeyance to a charge of aggravated assault, a legal agreement that will dismiss the charge entirely if she completes all mandated court conditions. Secondary charges connected to that previous arrest have already been formally dismissed by prosecutors.

Following the newer domestic dispute, Mortensen filed a protective order against his former girlfriend on March 19, which Paul countered by filing her own protective order on April 7 before prosecutors ultimately cancelled the latest criminal charges against her. Mortensen currently acts as the primary custodial parent for Ever during major holidays, while the family court granted Paul specific midweek visitation rights without overnight stays alongside alternating weekend custody.
