Alec and Hilaria Baldwin make surprise decision about beloved Hamptons property

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have once again pulled their Hamptons estate off the market, pausing the sale of the family property after months of trying to find a buyer.

According to property records, the listing was removed on July 8, just weeks after the couple lowered the asking price by $1 million, bringing it down to $18.99 million.

The sprawling Amagansett, New York, estate has had a lengthy and winding sales history. It was first listed in November 2022 for $29 million before being removed and relisted several times. Most recently, it returned to the market in December 2025 with a revised asking price of $21 million.

Earlier this year, Hilaria Baldwin opened up about why the decision to sell the family home has been so emotional.

In a March social media post featuring photos of the property, she reflected on the many memories the family has created there over the years.

“We spend summers in our pool. We go down to the beach, which is really close to where we are, the kids go to camp there. We cook, we spend time together,” she said. “It is such an amazing place.”

In the accompanying caption, Hilaria acknowledged that while the family had considered selling the home, letting go of a place filled with so many memories has not been easy.

Alec Baldwin has also spoken candidly about the family's attachment to the property.

During an interview with The New York Times in August 2025, the actor admitted that selling the Hamptons retreat would be especially difficult for their children.

“They'd go crazy,” he said of the prospect of leaving the longtime family home.

Alec and Hilaria, who married in 2012, share seven children and have frequently documented family life at the Long Island estate, making it a familiar backdrop for many of their family moments over the years.
