Jennifer Nettles reflects on Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce wedding

Jennifer Nettles revealed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding caught even invited guests off guard, saying attendees knew very little about the ceremony until shortly before it began.

The Sugarland singer attended the couple's wedding and described the experience as both emotional and unexpectedly secretive.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Nettles said the event remained tightly under wraps despite speculation in the lead-up.

"It all surprised me, because of course, no one knew anything," she said. "No one knew for sure where we were going until much closer to the time."

She added that witnessing the milestone was special, calling Swift and Kelce two people at the top of their respective professions.

Singer reflects on friendship with Swift

Nettles, who collaborated with Swift on Sugarland's 2018 song Babe, also praised the singer's songwriting ability.

"As a songwriter, you can't touch her," she said, adding that she was proud to have played even a small role in Swift's career.

The wedding guest list included several of Swift's longtime collaborators, including Ed Sheeran, Ice Spice, Sabrina Carpenter, Chris Stapleton, Gracie Abrams, Jack Antonoff, Aaron Dessner, Max Martin and Zoë Kravitz.
