Lost star Maggie Grace secretly took steps to officially end her marriage to Brent Bushnell in 2025 after seven years of marriage. The 42-year-old actress filed for divorce from Bushnell in Washington in May 2025, citing an irretrievably broken marriage, whilst listing their official date of separation as October 1, 2024.
Page Six reported on Tuesday that it had obtained court documents revealing the split and the subsequent finalisation of the divorce on August 13, 2025. In the initial petition, the Taken actress requested that her legal name be changed back to her maiden name, Margaret Grace Ives, a request that was ultimately granted in the final decree. The filing also showed that the couple had signed a prenuptial agreement in May 2017, which Grace requested the court uphold.
The court documents revealed details of the former couple's two children, including a four-year-old son born in 2020, and a one-year-old daughter named Fiona. Under the finalised agreement, Grace was granted primary custody of both children, while the parents share decision-making responsibilities for schooling, healthcare, and extracurricular activities. Bushnell was granted custody of their son each weekend, with weekend custody of their daughter scheduled to begin when she reaches the age of three and a half.
The co-parents agreed to split holidays, with Grace retaining the option to spend some weekends with the children. The agreement also dictates that Bushnell can request his ex-wife care for the children during his scheduled parenting time if he travels out of town for work.
Grace and Bushnell originally became engaged in February 2017 before marrying later that year. Representatives for Grace and Bushnell did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the newly revealed divorce filings.
