Zendaya, Tom Holland enjoy stylish NYC date amid 'Odyssey' tour
Newlyweds were spotted during an NYC dinner outing
Zendaya and Tom Holland enjoyed a stylish night out in New York City on Thursday as the newlyweds continued promoting Christopher Nolan's epic film The Odyssey ahead of its theatrical release.
Couple spotted heading to dinner
The pair were photographed holding hands as they arrived at the Gold House x OpenTable dinner at Japanese restaurant Wokuni on July 16, as per People.
Zendaya, 29, wore a black raw silk wrap dress featuring floral detailing at the waist, paired with black Christian Louboutin pointed-toe heels. She completed the look with her recently debuted natural "bixie" hairstyle.
Holland, 30, opted for a navy sweater layered over a light blue polo shirt, teamed with light-wash jeans and black leather boots.
Zendaya continues standout fashion streak
The latest appearance adds to Zendaya's series of eye-catching looks throughout The Odyssey press tour.
Ahead of her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress wore a gold Jitrois gown featuring the fashion house's signature bustier corset design, a thigh-high slit, matching gold accessories and pointed-toe heels. The look was styled by her longtime collaborator, Law Roach.
Earlier this week, she also turned heads at the New York premiere of The Odyssey in a dramatic white gown by French fashion house Matières Fécales. The custom design featured an asymmetrical neckline, feather-inspired train and oversized angel wings, paired with sculptural white pumps.
Holland jokes about Zendaya's onscreen romance
The couple have spent the week promoting Christopher Nolan's latest film, which also stars Matt Damon.
During a recent Wired interview, Holland joked about Zendaya's character, the Greek goddess Athena, and her relationship with Damon's Odysseus.
Asked whether Athena loved Odysseus romantically, Holland quipped, "No, because she's married to me."
The playful remark came shortly after Holland confirmed that he and Zendaya had tied the knot.
Zendaya recalls learning she joined the cast
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Zendaya revealed Holland was cast first as Telemachus, while she initially believed she would simply support him from the sidelines.
"I mean, he's the best, and he deserves this," she said. "And I'm obviously his biggest fan, but I'm also a Chris Nolan fan."
She recalled Holland later asking her to reread the script with Athena in mind.
"I was like, 'Yo, stop it right now,'" Zendaya said, remembering the moment she realised she had also landed a starring role in the film.
The Odyssey, based on Homer's ancient Greek epic, follows King Odysseus as he embarks on his long journey home after the Trojan War. The film opens in theatres on July 17.
