The 41-year-old moved from Egypt to New Orleans, Louisiana, to live with 55-year-old Debby, but ongoing arguments and conflicting priorities created severe strain in their relationship.

Page Six reported that the episode highlighted Mido's continued focus on pursuing an acting career in the United States over his upcoming marriage. During the broadcast, Mido met virtually with Hollywood agent Jason, expressing ambitions to emulate famous actors including Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, Al Pacino, and Brad Pitt. Jason declined to represent him immediately, advising him to focus on taking acting classes and improving his English skills before seeking a professional representation agreement.

Following the meeting, Debby expressed frustration regarding Mido's focus on his career, noting that only one month remained before his visa expired. Debby subsequently surprised Mido with a visit to a wedding venue, informing chapel owner Ranna that she intended to hold their ceremony within three weeks. Mido expressed discomfort over the sudden pressure, stating to cameras that he disliked being rushed into the decision.
