Meghan McCain shuts down facelift and Ozempic speculation

Meghan McCain is pushing back against online criticism of her appearance, saying she has no intention of turning to cosmetic injectables or weight-loss medication to meet others' expectations.

The 41-year-old Citizen McCain podcast host addressed the backlash after a clip of her recently went viral, revealing that she had seen numerous comments describing her as "old" and "ugly."

"I'm 41 years old... I'm going to age. I'm going to get older. I am fatter because I've had three kids," McCain said.

The mother of three explained that her appearance has naturally changed and noted that caring for her children often takes priority over spending time on professional hair and makeup.

"Sometimes, in the morning, it's more important for me to get my kids ready, to spend time with them and feed my son than it is for me to get ready," she said.

During the discussion, co-host Miranda Wilkins noted that neither of them had undergone Botox, a thread facelift or used Ozempic.

McCain added that while the medication might be tempting, she has chosen not to use it.

She also firmly denied having a facelift or cosmetic injectables.

"We are all going to have to collectively come together and agree that I'm going to continue aging," McCain said. "I'm sorry, I'm not a facelift, injectable person."

The comments echo remarks McCain made earlier this year after welcoming her third child, son Ransom, with husband Ben Domenech.

Responding to body-shaming comments in March, she wrote on X that she would not be using Ozempic despite criticism of her weight following pregnancy.

While stressing she does not judge those who choose the medication, McCain said she does not believe in a "magic shot" and added that she does not want her face to change.

McCain and Domenech are also parents to daughters Liberty Sage, 5, and Clover Jade, 2.
