Jessica Biel shares sweet confession about life with her sons

Jessica Biel has admitted that if she could keep one thing with her at all times, it would be her two sons, revealing she hates being away from them despite the demands of her career.

The Bleeding Heart actress, who shares sons Silas, 11, and Phineas, 5, with husband Justin Timberlake, said she would happily have her children by her side wherever she goes.

When asked by E! News what she would "shrink down and keep in my pocket all day," Biel didn't hesitate with her answer.

"My kids! That would be great if they could just hang out right in a pocket, hanging with me all day long," she said.

Although her children were her first choice, Biel has previously described Timberlake as her "best friend," praising the singer for understanding the unique demands of working in the entertainment industry.

Speaking to InStyle, the actress said their shared experience in film and music has strengthened their relationship, allowing them to support each other through long work hours and extended periods apart.

Biel has also shared that, despite her Hollywood career, her sons are far more impressed by her friendship with actor and former WWE star John Cena than by her own accomplishments.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2025, she revealed that Phineas described her on a Mother's Day worksheet as "John Cena's friend" instead of an actress, joking that she had finally earned "cool mom points."

Still, Biel admitted those points haven't lasted for long.

She said both Silas and Phineas continue to think she's "so lame," while Timberlake enjoys the "cool parent" title thanks to his music career.

Biel joked that her younger son regularly tells her she has "the worst ideas," while her eldest even asks her not to cheer too loudly during his baseball games.
