Qatar airlines makes an emergency landing at Karachi as a pregnant lady on flight gives birth
Qatar Airways flight QR 394 bound to Manila was diverted to Karachi’s Jinnah International airport after a pregnant Filipino passenger faced a major setback on board.
The lady traveling was seemingly going through the last days of her pregnancy as she suffered unbearable labor pain while on flight and the situation wreaked havoc.
As per the Civil Aviation Authority, a doctor and ambulance arrived immediately as the plane landed in the cosmopolitan city during the birth of a baby boy mid flight.
The patient and the newly born have been shifted to the hospital to get further medical assistance.
To note, the jet departed from Doha on Monday evening but was caught in an emergency landing situation.
Just after two hours of transporting the lady safe and sound the flight took off and reached its desired destination, Manila.
