Leonardo DiCaprio brings western crime saga on screens in 'Killers of the Flower Moon'

Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated film Killers of the Flower Moon  trailer is out now, showcasing the incredible talents of Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone as an unexpected duo navigating the consequences of greed in 1920s Oklahoma.

In the film, the Titanic star , 48, takes on the role of Ernest Burkhart, while Gladstone portrays Mollie Kyle.

The trailer hints at an intriguing twist as their characters develop an unforeseen romantic relationship, adding an extra layer of complexity to the story.

Based on David Grann's bestselling book from 2017, which recounts a true story, Killers of the Flower Moon is described as an epic western crime saga where genuine love intersects with unimaginable betrayal.

The plot revolves around the Osage Nation, who found themselves immensely wealthy overnight due to oil discoveries.

However, this newfound prosperity attracted the attention of opportunistic outsiders who shamelessly exploited, extorted, and even resorted to murder to acquire the Osage people's wealth.

"Oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight," the synopsis reads

Joining DiCaprio and Gladstone in the cast are renowned actors Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow, and Brendan Fraser.
