Lisa Marie Presley death links with 'previous bariatric surgery', cause of death revealed

Lisa Marie Presley's cause of death has been revealed after almost 6 months of her passing at the age 54  in January this year.

According to the medical reports obtained by media outlets, the singer and song-writer died of a “small bowel obstruction caused by scar tissue that developed after a previous bariatric surgery years ago.” 

According to the Los Angeles county medical examiner, a toxicology report for Presley is yet to be released.

The King of Rock & Roll Elvis Presley and his singer wife Priscilla Presley's only daughter died on January 12, 2023 at a hospital in West Hills, Calif, after a cardiac arrest at her Calabasas home.

Priscilla shared the sad news via a statement at that time, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” 

“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known,” The Naked Gun actress wrote of her daughter Lisa at that time.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has also revealed that deputies and fire department personnel had arrived at Lisa Marie's home before taking her to the hospital.

It is pertinent to note, the Dirty Laundry singer attended 2023 Golden Globes Awards a few days before her death.

The American actor  Austin Butler won the award for his outstanding performance in Elvis' Biopic.
