Android users to enjoy convenience of ChatGPT at fingertips soon
OpenAI is set to launch the Android version of its ChatGPT app next week

Two months after launching the ChatGPT app for iOS, OpenAI has announced to release the Android version of the app.
OpenAI took to Twitter to reveal that the ChatGPT app for Andriod users will be rolling out next week, and users can pre-order the app through Play Store.
"Announcing ChatGPT for Android! The app will be rolling out to users next week, and you can pre-order in the Google Play Store starting today," the company behind ChatGPT announced on social media.
The app's Android version will be very similar to its iOS version which enables users to sync chats and preferences across devices.
Although the US is likely to see the launch of the Android rollout first, OpenAI has not made clear the precise plans for international expansion.
Interested users can "pre-register" the app on the Play Store to receive notifications when it becomes accessible.
