Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans clashing over children amidst serious accusations

Former Hollywood couple Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans are embroiled in a heated custody battle for their two daughters, Ella and Elsie.

Gruffudd, known for his roles in Fantastic Four and 101 Dalmatians, has hurled a serious allegation at his ex-wife Evans. 

He has labeled her a 'child abuser' in court documents, claiming that her actions have inflicted 'serious emotional harm' upon their children. 

He said, "Alice has continued to inflict serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them."

"Alice has verbally abused and undermined me in front of the girls throughout their lives. since January 2021, Alice has also encouraged and instructed them not to see me or communicate with me and she has made thousands of threatening and abusive communications to me and about me." he added.

The feud took a new direction when a Los Angeles judge recently granted a hearing in response to Gruffudd's request for a child custody evaluation by an expert. 

Evans has fired back, asserting that Gruffudd has not seen or communicated with their daughters for almost three months.

She said in her new court documents, "I have read and disagree with the declaration of petitioner (Gruffudd) as to allegations that I am inflicting or causing our children 'serious emotional harm'."

Alice Evans also added, "Petitioner has not seen, complied with, nor called the children for 11 weeks. I don't understand how having no recent information, 'petitioner believes' there is an urgency such that a child custody evaluation must be commenced."

 Amid the legal wrangling, both Gruffudd and Evans are seeking custody of their daughters, Ella and Elsie. 

The situation has become increasingly complex, with restraining orders, accusations of emotional harm, and claims of interference in the children's lives.

Despite finalizing the divorce, in September 2021, after the actress claimed that her husband of 14 left her and their two daughters, disputes over support and child custody remain unresolved.
