Behind Hailey Bieber’s wedding look, fashion stylist Maeve Reilly, known for her work with renowned celebrities like Megan Fox, Winnie Harlow, and Eva Longoria, revealed tips for achieving a "timeless" bridal look.

In a dialogue with PEOPLE, Reilly gave suggestions for brides to channel Hollywood’s red carpet looks for their big day.

Reilly  began with, "I think it is really important to do your research. Not only do trends change every day, but we also change our minds all the time, so doing a ton of research not only on what you like, but also what you don’t like, can help you feel more confident in your choice."

The Local Love Club founder advised, "It's also important to be mindful that not only should you love your look on the day of your wedding, but you want to look back and love your look for years to come."

She often recommends choosing more "timeless" styles and silhouettes rather than what is currently "on trend".

While discussing brides who grapple with choosing an outfit even after experimenting with numerous options, she noted that this scenario bore a resemblance to selecting a husband or wife. In such decisions, there is often a sense of knowing when the choice is right.

The Styling Series founder continued, "I think people look the most beautiful when you can tell that they feel like the best version of themselves."

Fashion mogul noted, "There's something that you cannot explain, you just feel it. There’s a light that shines from within and I think everyone around you can see it too."

Reilly graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology before she started working with famous celebrities. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair and Marie Claire.
