Mansha Pasha, the renowned Pakistani actress, has recently broke her silence on two deeply personal and harrowing experiences that greatly impacted her life.
In a candid interview with Frieha Altaf on the podcast FWhy, the Laal Kabootar actress shared her experience and talked about the pain she felt on her first divorce.
Pasha revealed, “It took me 5 years to recover from my first divorce.”
She also unveiled the challenges of giving advice with good intentions, underlining the significance of having faith in one's own decision. After her first divorce, it took her five years to embark on a unique journey, one she began on her terms and at her own speed.
The Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida star also discussed the significance of prioritizing mental well-being within the entertainment industry, the synergy between the roles she chooses and her personal values, as well as her initial experience with divorce.
She further unfolded the recent traumatic event in her life, when her husband the lawyer and civil rights activist Jibran Nasir was abducted.
The Idiot actress shared how she felt at the time and how thankful she was for all the support she received, while Nasir was kidnapped.
It is pertinent to know that Pasha and Nasir tied the knot on April 10, 2021, in an intimate wedding in Karachi, after their engagement in 2019.
Pasha also illuminated her selection process for characters and asserted that fictional characters, whether virtuous or flawed, should be depicted genuinely in television and cinema.
While in her candid discussion, she shed light on the recent trend in Pakistani media where the actions of anti-heroes are frequently celebrated rather than critically portrayed.
