King Charles and Queen Camilla paid homage to the legacy of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip on Remembrance Day at London’s Royal Albert Hall. 

The poignant occasion, hosted during the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance, unveiled newly crafted statues immortalizing the late monarchs. 

The ceremony, attended by the royal family, symbolized a heartfelt tribute to not only fallen soldiers but also the indelible contributions of the former Queen and her consort to the nation. 

The statues, unveiled by King Charles, serve as a lasting testament to their enduring presence in British history.

The event highlighted the monarchy's enduring connection to Remembrance Day, deeply rooted in history since King George V's gestures in 1920. 


The upcoming National Service of Remembrance, also known as Remembrance Sunday, at The Cenotaph war memorial will further witness the royal family’s unwavering dedication to honoring the fallen.

Among the distinguished guests at the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance were Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales. 

Adorned with the symbolic red poppy pins, the royal couple joined King Charles and Queen Camilla in honoring the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Their presence at the solemn ceremony conveyed a shared reverence for fallen soldiers and a personal tribute to the former monarchs.
