Taylor Swift Brazil concert company faced consequences as they are under investigation after a fan’s death tragic, on November 17, 2023.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the civil police of Rio de Janeiro's Civil Police is looking into a potential "crime of danger to life or health" offense by the company involved.
The organizers of the event are expected to be summoned for testimony, and authorities are taking steps to investigate, as per the reports.
According to Brazilian newspaper Estadão, the officials plan to "investigate everything that fans reported, such as the structure of the place and the availability of water."
On the day of the tragic incident, temperature was soared to 102°F, leaded Swift to cancel her Saturday performance due to the extreme heat in Rio.
The concert was rescheduled for Monday, with the Blank Space singer emphasizing the priority of safety for fans, performers, and crew.
Although the cause of Benevides Machado's death has not been disclosed, Time For Fun mentioned in a social media post that the attendee fell ill at the venue.
She received initial assistance from first responders and was later taken to Salgado Filho Hospital where she later passed away.
Soon after Benevides Machado death, her father Weiny Machado opened up in an interview with Folha de S.Paulo, where he sought clarification on whether fans were restricted from bringing water to the show.
This inquiry arose after fan-captured videos showed the Love Story singer pausing the concert and requesting water for attendees.
He stated, "I lost my only daughter, a happy and intelligent girl. She was about to graduate in psychology next April, saving money. I have no words to express my pain. She left home to fulfill a dream and came back dead."
"Time for Fun announced on social media before the postponement of Saturday's show that water stations would have been provided at the stadium," he told.

Soon after this accident occurred, Taylor Swift posted on her social media account about her fan’s tragic death incident on November 19, 2023.
The Shake It Off singer wrote, "I can't believe I'm writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can't even tell you how devastated I am by this. There's very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young."
"I’m not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it," she continued.
The Grammy award winner concluded with, "I want to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil."
