Jennifer Aniston shares insights on 'Morning Show' scenes with Jon Hamm
Jennifer Aniston opened up about the unique comfort level she experienced with her longtime friend, Jon Hamm

Jennifer Aniston has geared up for the third season of The Morning Show, she offered a candid glimpse into the dynamics of her on-screen chemistry with co-star Jon Hamm.
During a recent interview with Variety, the 52-year-old actress delves into the intricacies of the steamy love scenes featuring their characters, Alex Levy and Paul Marks.
Aniston opens up about the unique comfort level she experienced, shedding light on the connection she shares with her longtime friend, Jon Hamm, and the collaborative energy that shaped these important moments in the upcoming season.
The Friends starlet shared, "Having Mimi [the director] there, you’re protected," adding, "I never felt uncomfortable. Jon was such a gentleman, always -- I mean every move, every cut, 'You OK?' It was also very choreographed. That's the beauty of Mimi and our gorgeous editor, the music and lighting. So, you don't prepare."
She continued, “They asked us if we wanted an intimacy coordinator.”
Aniston went on to say. "I’m from the olden days, so I was like, 'What does that mean?' They said, 'Where someone asks you if you're OK,' and I'm like, 'Please, this is awkward enough!' We're seasoned -- we can figure this one out. And we had Mimi there."
However, as per the Screen Actors Guild, the function of an intimacy coordinator is to serve as "an advocate, a liaison between actors and production…in regard to nudity and simulated sex and other intimate and hyper-exposed scenes."
Aniston further discussed her enduring friendship with "the Hammanator" and the experience of portraying characters alongside his nuanced and complex role, often perceived by many as a "snake."
Referring to Hamm's character she said, “But was he?" adding, "Or was that just his nature? I don't think he felt that it was intentional. He just is who he is. But that was fun. I’ve known the Hammanator for a long, long time."
