Cari Beauchamp was a Hollywood historian, author and journalist

Cari Beauchamp, a respected Hollywood historian and author has passed away at the age of 74 on December 14, 2023 due to natural causes.
As reported by Variety, Beauchamp was a contributor to the outlet and frequently present on Turner Classic Movies.
Turner Classic Movies took to their X account to pay tribute to the deceased author saying, “Without her invaluable work, many female creatives would be lost to history. We are grateful for her many contributions to our network over the years.”
As a creative journalist she contributed to the magazines and newspapers of many renowned outlets such as Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times.

Cari Beauchamp was born in Berkeley and worked as a private investigator before becoming a full-time writer.
She was a campaign manager as well as the press secretary to the former governor of California, Jerry Brown, as per her biography.
Beauchamp was a productive author who focused her work on the female pioneers of the entertainment industry.

The American author was named a resident film scholar for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, twice and also served as a resident scholar of the Mary Pickford Foundation.
