Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx gets engaged with boyfriend Joseph Hooten

Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx is now engaged to her long time boyfriend Joseph Hooten.

Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, Corinne happily announced that her longtime boyfriend Hooten had proposed  her.

 She shared a series of black and white photos from the proposal, showing moments of joy and love between the couple on a boat deck.

In one photo, the Safety actress and Hooten could be seen smiling and hugging, while another photo captured Corinne giving a sweet kiss on the cheek of her now fiancé.

Another picture showed the couple hugging while they were looking at the camera.

The Below the Belt star captioned the post, "From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever."

Corinne Foxx and  Joseph Hooten romance:

In July 2019, Corinne Foxx and Joseph Hooten  made their relationship public when the  29-year-old actress posted some romantic pictures on her Instagram account, of them holding hands on the sandy shore of Indian Rocks Beach in Florida.

In September 2019, Corinne and Hooten enjoyed a day out at Zion National Park,  captured in an Instagram post by the We Are Family actress.

 The post featured pictures of the couple smiling at a horse stable.

Corinne captioned the post, "Spent the weekend with a couple of studs."

Later on, the Dollface actress kept on sharing some updates about her relationship with Hooten via several other posts.

Corinne Foxx's statement on Jamie Foxx health:

The engagement news came after Corinne shared that her father, Jamie Foxx, faced a significant health complication while emphasizing the family's gratitude for the emergency medical attention he received.

On April 12, 2023, Corinne released a statement on her Instagram on behalf of Foxx's family, requesting for their privacy, while sharing that the Ray actor had faced a serious health issue, but he got quick medical help.

The statement read, "We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."
