Shannen Doherty said that she's so "thankful to be here" after having a difficult year

Shannen Doherty has admitted that she is "incredibly grateful" for this year.
During the recent episode of her podcast, Let’s Be Clear With Shannen Doherty on Monday, in which Doherty had her mother as a guest, shared that she’s so thankful to be here.
The Beverly Hills actress said, "This year is about just being incredibly grateful that we're here and we get to spend time with the people that are by our sides through thick and thin."
"Who don't walk away, who love us unconditionally, and that have the same beliefs and morals and standards and people who have character, I'm just so thankful really to be here for it," she continued.
Doherty, who has been undergoing cancer treatment for the past eight years, talked about her recovery, saying, "I even got to schedule my cancer infusions where I would be recovered completely from it for Christmas."

The Charmed actress further said, "For me, it's been a turbulent year, some massive health struggles, some massive personal struggles, a lot of heartbreak and fear."
"But with all of that, I have found, I was actually saying this to myself the other night, ‘God I think I'm actually starting to live the happiest version of myself,'" Doherty added.
The 52-year-old actress also told about the difficulties she faced this year, saying, "Even though it's been such a contentious year for me, fsome reason it just feels it's gotten a lot lighter lately and a lot more positive."
Shannen Doherty diagnosed with cancer:
Shannen Doherty was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
Later, in February 2020, the Heathers actress disclosed that she had stage 4 breast cancer.
In June, Doherty shared that she underwent surgery to remove a tumor from her head because the cancer had spread to her brain.
