Pedro Pascal paid tribute to his "greatest teacher" Willem Dafoe at Dafoe’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Pascal shared a funny story with Dafoe at the event, where he also called him  as his greatest teacher of all time.

Before Dafoe officially received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pascal, mentioned in his speech, "I'm gonna go off book just for a second: I saw Platoon in the movie theater with my father and [Dafoe] made me cry so hard my dad sent me to the bathroom. This was 1986. I was like 10 years old  and I still wanted to be an actor."

The Last of Us star continued, "He redefines the concept of rebel and originality by making it about generosity, integrity, kindness, and fun. Willem is a good time and an amazing friend."

Pascal, known for his role in The Great Wall alongside the Inside star, reminisced about celebrating his birthday with Dafoe and his wife, Giada Colagrande.

He said, "It was the warmest introduction into a world I'd spent my life admiring and learning from. He has been my greatest teacher."

The 48-year-old actor wrapped up his speech by calling Dafoe "the greatest American actor in our lifetime."

He further added, "You cannot compare his career to anyone’s, truthfully. So it is our fortune to have him and I personally am forever grateful."

Also in attendance for the ceremony were Patricia Arquette, who humorously referred to Dafoe as "the Pope of Hollywood" during her onstage toast.

Mark Ruffalo, Wim Wenders, Guillermo Del Toro, Ramy Youssef, Camila Morrone, Giada Colagrande, Walter Hill, and Sean Baker were also there to celebrate.
