Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has sent shockwaves through his fans as he announced his third marriage to drama actress Sana Javed amid divorce rumours with Sania Mirza.
Taking to his Instagram account on Saturday, Malik shared a glimpse of his wedding with Dunk actress and penned the caption, “Alhamdullilah. And We created you in pairs.”
Shortly following the announcement, Javed updated her Instagram biography to read "Sana Shoaib Malik."
In shared pictures, Javed radiated elegance as she donned a dreamy beige-coloured heavily embellished lehenga accompanied with green and gold jewellery while the 41-year-old sported a white sherwani with a golden embroidered shawl.
The twosome can also be seen wearing wedding bands in recently shared pictures.
Upon their announcement, a wave of excitement swept through the internet, leaving fans in a state of shock and pleasant surprise over the unexpected news.
One wrote, “Ummm whattt?”
Another fan inquired about his first wife, “What about Sania Mirza”
The third noted, “This was a bigger surprise than Pakistan striking back in Iran. All thanks to “Jeeto Pakistan”? Congratulations”

It is pertinent to mention that the athlete, who married Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza in 2010, is a father to a son from his previous marriage.
Speculation surrounding the divorce of Malik and Mirza has been circulating in gossip circles for nearly two years.
Just two days ago, Indian media covered a cryptic Instagram post by tennis star Sania Mirza, in which she delved into the topics of marriage and divorce with a motivational message.
Her post said, “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely.”
Sana Javed and Umair Jaswal wedding:
Likewise, Javed, who married musician Umair Jaswal in 2020, had remained silent about their private affairs. The former pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony in October 2020.
