Is Sania Mirza 'missing' husband Shoaib Malik on her birthday amid separation rumors?

Shoaib Malik was not seen with Sania Mirza as she celebrated her birthday along side her son and niece.

The famous Indian tennis player took to her Instagram account to upload the pictures of her rather simple and intimate birthday celebration, with her cricketer husband nowhere in sight.

The first picture Mirza uploaded shows her blowing out a candle on top of her birthday cake. 

She had wrapped one arm around her son and the other around her niece holding them close to her as she bends down to blow the candle.

The table was decked with two vases having colourful, vibrant and fresh roses as well as Chrysanthemums on both sides of the picture frame.

In a caption full of gratitude and love, Mirza wrote, “I want to thank everyone for allll the love and wishes on WhatsApp, stories, posts and in person for everyone who came to celebrate from everywhere aka (sit and chill on the couch all day and night) THANK YOU and love you.”

Mirza’s son, Izhaan is seen kissing his mother’s cheek in the second picture while the 37-year-old sportswoman holds her niece in her arm.

All three of them have very casual home-wear attire on with Mirza wearing a black shirt with the words, “Expensive and Difficult” written on it.

Amidst the celebratory post, fans have been speculating why her supposed husband, Shoaib Malik is missing from the pictures.

As her caption continued, “I am so lucky to have ppl who love me so much, missed a few and you know who you are.”

One fan commented, “We know he is @realshoaibmalik.” While another said, “We know you miss @realshoaibmalik.”

The caption has now left many wondering if its actually the Pakistani cricketer who she misses.

Previously, when the award-winning sportswoman wished her son a happy birthday on October 30, 2023, the child’s father was no where to be seen nor mentioned in the heartfelt tribute.
