Brooklyn Beckham playfully teased his wife, Nicola Peltz, about her culinary skills as he humorously remarked that his wife can't cook "to save her life."

During a conversation with The Times, Brooklyn shared insights into his culinary journey, revealing that he acquired cooking skills from his father, David Beckham.

Playfully, he also poked fun at the cooking abilities of some of his family members.

Referring to his father, the retired soccer star, and mother Victoria Beckham, he shared, "My dad was always the one cooking in the house, my mum not so much," adding, "I just loved hanging out with him in the kitchen, I loved the smell of food."

Brooklyn mentioned that the younger generation of Beckhams, including himself and his siblings—Romeo (21), Cruz (18), and Harper (12)—now come together for cooking sessions.

"We never say it’s like a competition, even though we give each other a bit of stick about it — that's just what brothers do. All of us in the kitchen. Just listening to music, cooking together, it’s fun," said Brooklyn. "The best."

The 24-year-old’s passion for cooking isn't reciprocated by his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. When questioned by The Times about the 29-year-old actress's culinary skills, Brooklyn quipped, “Not to save her life!"

He stated, "I've been lucky enough to do videos and hang out with all these different types of chefs, learning different things, like [the renowned U.S. baker] Nancy Silverton, who is one of my favorite chefs. She's a really cool person."

Brooklyn shared with the outlet that he has never enrolled in a cooking class but has dedicated time to watching online MasterClass sessions featuring chefs. He also highlighted the relationships he has forged through his cooking platform, Cookin' with Brooklyn.

He has faced criticism for some of his cooking content, but he handles the negativity on the internet with resilience and a sense of humor.

"I always wish them well, the haters," he said in the interview. "I'm just doing what I love doing, staying healthy, being happy, and that's what it is. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down."

For the unversed, Brooklyn has been posting cooking-related content on various social media platforms for an extended period, and he also served as the host for a Facebook Watch series titled Cookin' with Brooklyn during the 2021-2022 period.

In the show, Brooklyn collaborated with professional chefs or celebrities to create distinctive and enticing culinary dishes.
