Award show in Hollywood are usually glamorous events filled with stars in fancy outfits, giving speeches and celebrating big wins.

But sometimes, these events turn into dram a-filled moments that get a lot of attention. We have seen celebrities get into awkward spats, make shocking statements or do things that end up all over the news.

Kanye West interrupts Taylor Swift

In 2009, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video at MTV Music Awards.

The popstar won for You Belong with Me, and after she excitedly accepted an award (the Moonman) and went to mic to delivered a speech, Kanye jumped on stage next to her, took the mic and said, “I am gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best music videos of all time.”

Taylor was unprepared about that all thing and was led off the stage. She was upset behind the scenes. Later, Beyonce who had won different award, brought Taylor back on stage so she could finish her speech and “have her moment.”

Adele restarts song at Grammys

At the 2017 Grammy Awards, Adele was doing a tribute performance for the late singer George Michael.

At first, things did not go smoothly, Adele swore into the mic and asked if she and her band could start the song over.

The Skyfall singer apologised for crushing and said she did not want to mess up the tribute to George then second time Adele performed the song, it went well.

Will Smith slaps Chris Rock

At 94th Academy Awards show in 2022, Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith’s wife.

The joke was about Jada starring in a movie like G.I. Jane because she has bald due to having alopecia.

Will was upset by the joke as he walked up to Chris on stage, slapped him, went back to his seat and told Chris “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***king mouth.”

Nicki Minaj calls out Miley Cyrus at VMAs

At the 2015 Video Music Awards, Nicki Minaj took the opportunity to address he feud with Miley Cyrus on stage during her win Best Hip-Hop video.

Nicki made comments referencing the feud while accepting her award, said, “And now back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press, Miley, what’s good?”

The Side to Side hitmaker previously criticized the VMAs for focusing on women with slim bodies and for not consistently recognizing Black women.

After Nicki spoke out, Miley responded by saying the Everybody singer’s complaints were “just about herself.” This led Nicki Minaj addressing the feud onstage at VMAs.

At the 73rd Golden Globes in 2016, Lady Gaga was walking to accept her Best Actress for her role in American Horror Story, as she walked past Leonardo DiCaprio, her body bumped into his arm and shoulder that were sticking out into her path.
