Billie Eilish expressed profound gratitude for the Academy Award nomination of her and her brother Finneas's song What Was I Made For?

The track, featured in the film Barbie, garnered recognition in the category of Best Original Song.

On Instagram post, the Lovely singer shared a picture with Margot Robbie along with a heartfelt statement with brother, Finneas.


The Grammy-winning artist , known for her distinctive voice and unique style, shared her excitement with fans, stating, "We are so incredibly honored to receive a nomination for 'What Was I Made For?' As lifelong fans of film, music in film, and the Academy Awards, this means everything to us."

The siblings expressed their deep appreciation to the Academy and its members, acknowledging the significance of being recognized among esteemed songwriters.

"We are so grateful to the Academy, its members, and to be recognized alongside so many songwriters that we respect and admire," it further read.
