Jennifer Lopez returned to Saturday Night Live as a musical guest for the fourth time on the show’s latest episode while Ayo Edebiri joined the stage as the show’s host on February 3, 2024.

The 54-year-old singer and actress delivered two musical performances at Studio 8H, rocking the stage in her iconic outfits.

Edebiri announced both of Lopez's performances on the show. Her first gig was a rendition of her new track, Can't Get Enough, featuring Latto and REDMAN, who both joined the singer on stage for the performance, marking cameo appearances of the episode.

As the Get On The Floor hit-maker showcased her impeccable dancing skills, fans all over social media were quick to notice Lopez’s professionalism.

Apparently, the singer tackled a hair-related wardrobe mishap during her performance, which seemingly went unnoticed in the beginning.

However shortly after her performance, a video was posted on X, formerly Twitter, which pointed out Lopez removing a loose hair extension and throwing it to the ground without missing a beat of her musical gig.

“Not Jennifer Lopez literally snatching her own wig off,” the caption of the video read.

"What a performer, shake it off and keep on!" a fan wrote in the comments section, while another commented, "The show must go on. JLO ate up that performance."

Later in the show, Lopez also performed the title track of her ninth studio album, This Is Me… Now, in a stunning, off-the-shoulder floral, baby pink-coloured floor-length gown.

The statement dress also had a thigh high slit which was enhanced by Lopez’s hair tied up in a sleek up-do, and her wedding jewelry that she wore alongside a bedazzling microphone she used to sing.
