Did bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ever marry a 'tree'?

 Bollywood couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan wedding was one of the biggest events of Indian film industry that garnered a lot of praise from both Indian media as well as international media.

On September 16, The Indian Express reported that one of the running debates surrounding Aishwarya and Abhishek's wedding is the claim that she was forced to marry a tree before getting married to Abhishek in an archaic ritual to fend off bad omens.

However, there were allegations that the actress' Kundli did not match Abhishek's Kundli and that Aishwarya was 'Mangalak' because of which she will be married first to a tree and then to Abhishek.

When Abhishek's family declared that the wedding will take place at his home, Juhu with no fanfare, the story began to circulate.

However, Aishwarya addressed this issue in a post-marriage interview and said, "It is beyond comprehension where this thing comes from? People always ask me the same thing when I travel abroad: Did you wed a tree?

Aishwarya claims that Indian media did very irresponsible reporting on her marriage, which makes her unhappy.

Meanwhile, many people in India still believe that Aishwarya Rai was married to a tree before Abhishek.
