Simone Biles recently shared a series of photos from the 7th Biles International Invitational, an event she hosted over the weekend from February 4 to 6, 2024.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Biles shared photos from the event reflecting on the success of the invitational, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to realize her dream of hosting her own competition.

“We hosted our 7th Biles International Invitational, I’ve always dreamt of hosting my own competition but never thought it would come to fruition,” she wrote in caption.


She expressed her feelings of being blessed to host the event and thanked her family and friends for their unwavering support, highlighting their commitment to volunteering every year and describing the event as a heartwarming reunion.

Biles added, “I feel so blessed to be able to host this competition but I couldn’t do it without all of the love and support (especially my family & friends coming out to volunteer EVERY YEAR) it’s our little reunion!”

The American Gymnast extended her appreciation to all the participating gyms and athletes, congratulating them on their performances and hoping they had a memorable experience to cherish forever.

“I want to thank all of the gyms and athletes for coming out to support and congratulate y’all on competing, I hope you had an amazing experience that you will forever cherish,” she further wrote.

She concluded her message with a toast to the 2024 season, stating, "CHEERS TO 2024 season"

The invitational took place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, drawing more than 3,500 athletes to compete.

Notably, this event serves as a qualifying competition for the prestigious Nastia Liukin Cup.
