Jason Kelce, the NFL star is reportedly still deciding whether to retire from football.

As per PEOPLE, Kelce shared on Shaquille O'Neal's podcast that he hasn't made up his mind yet about the retirement.

He said, "I think I’ll have an answer in the next couple weeks."

“I think if I still want to play, I’m going to play, I think right now we’re not far enough away from the last game. It’s emotional, it’s a long season, the end of the season quite frankly, awful. So I’m just going to take some time, rest, recoup and then figure it out,” he further added.

After the Eagles' last game in January, the brother of Travis Kelce hinted at the retirement. However, now he feels it's too soon to make a final call.

Kelce, with over 13 years of experience in the league, revealed that the end of the season left him drained.

He believes he needs time to rest and recover before making such a significant decision.

The 36-year-old athlete acknowledges feeling anxious about what comes next, stating, “It is exciting to think about possibilities — it is exciting to be able to lose weight, feel good, and not physically fight for my life every day, I think it is also daunting. It is anxiety and at the end of the day, it is the unknown.”

In one scene of his Kelce documentary, he said, “It’s getting harder and harder to play, there have been little things that are not big things yet but are going to turn into big things the longer I play.”
