Prince William and Kate Middleton is reportedly expected to ascend to the throne 'much sooner'

According to InTouch report, the sources close to the Royal family shared that King Charles is considering to step down as he battles against cancer.

An insider revealed, “Charles can’t help but consider stepping down instead, for the sake of the monarchy, meaning William and Kate will be crowned king and queen much sooner than anyone expected.”

The outlet shared that King Charles doesn’t have any choice because of the seriousness of his cancer battle. Sources said, “The side effects are a lot worse than anyone knows.”

Prince William, who is looking after royal duties amid Kate Middleton’s health recovery and King Charles’ cancer treatment has reportedly taken most of the control of the palace.

“He’s taken more control at the palace, staying in constant contact with Charles’ aides, He’s basically the Firm’s point man right now,” the source revealed.

On the other hand, Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton is still recovering from abdominal surgery.

Source told the outlet, “ She’s still recovering and isn’t expected to be fully back in action until April, the timing isn’t ideal, but she’s ready to step up. They’ve both been preparing for this for years.”
