Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s lucrative Netflix deal was supposed to expire this September.

Royal channels, sources, and those generally averse to the couple for one reason or another tired themselves out discussing the many possibilities of the deal exploding in their faces.

However, this month, it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally extended their partnership with the streaming giant and putting pen to paper, they have now signed a “multi-year, first look deal” with Netflix.

BBC described the latest development as a “looser arrangement” than the previous one between the two parties — though the claims that Netflix were done with the Sussexes have been put to rest (for now).

Four days ago, Meghan also announced the return of her show, With Love, Meghan, via Instagram.

According to the latest announcement, the second part of her lifestyle series debuts August 26 on Netflix.

Previously, the royal pair has collaborated with Netflix on multiple occasions.

Besides Meghan’s show, the streamer has also produced four other projects for the couple and their company, the Archewell Productions:

While the Duchess also collaborated with the company on her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

As their new deal is set to move forward at Netflix, there are many new projects already in development at Archewell, which Netflix will now have the first option to produce, based on their latest deal.

Here is an extensive list of titles you may or may not be aware of:

‘With Love, Meghan’ Holiday Special

While Meghan’s show returns to the streaming network with a second installment soon, it will also set the stage for a special holiday event.

Archewell Productions revealed in a statement, “This December, join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration. Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home. It’s a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy.”

‘Meet Me at the Lake’

The rights to adapt Carly Fortune’s romance novel was optioned by Meghan and Harry back in 2023.

They reportedly paid $3.8 million for the project and it has long been predicted to go ahead at Netflix.

‘Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within’

Archewell are producing this documentary short about the HIV/Aids crisis in the Ugandan region of Masaka, set to arrive on Netflix at an unspecified date later this year.

Synopsis for the project reveals, “In the heart of Uganda’s Masaka region, where the shadows of the HIV/AIDS crisis linger, a small orphanage becomes a beacon of hope. ‘Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within’ goes beyond the viral videos to reveal a vibrant, one-of-a-kind community where orphaned children transform hardship into joy, dancing their way toward healing, belonging, and the promise of a brighter future.”

‘Bad Manners’

Largely speculated is this adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic text, Great Expectations — however, as a prequel.

Based on the pivotal character, Miss Havisham’s story, before the events of the well known novel, it is still unclear if Netflix has greenlighted the project.
