Prince William is expected to attend the upcoming BAFTA Awards ceremony to be held on February 18, 2024.

According to a report by Variety, Prince William will be marking his presence at the ceremony solo, as his wife, Kate Middleton, is still in the process of recovery from a serious abdominal surgery, which she underwent last month.

Prince William is will be attending one of the most prestigious awards ceremony of the year, at the Royal Festival Hall on the banks of London’s River Thames.

The 41-year-old royal also serves as the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) since 2010. Last year, he attended the ceremony with the Princess of Wales, after a two year-long absence.

At last year's awards ceremony, Prince William and Princess Kate witnessed a special tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth, who had died a few months prior to the show.

Dame Helen Mirren led the heartfelt tribute to the Queen which stated, "Your Majesty, you were our nation's leading star. On behalf of Bafta, thank you for all that you have done for our film and television industry.”

The royal couple appeared to be very moved by the words and were seen clapping at the tribute.
