King Charles has opened up about the emotional impact of his cancer diagnosis news as he shared he was “reduced to tears” when he received the news.
On Wednesday, the British Monarch met with the prime minister of UK Rishi Sunak, at Buckingham Palace and it was the first meeting after his cancer diagnosis.
King Charles looked into state affairs but his presence was not prominent due to his ailing health.
The news of his meeting with the PM was made public following the release of photos and videos on the official social media account of the Royal Family.
Sunak shared he felt “wonderful” over seeing King Carles in good health, the king responded, “It's all done with mirrors.”
The Prime Minister added on his remark, "Well, we're all behind you. The country's behind you."

The King said, "I've had so many wonderful messages and cards. It's reduced me to tears most of the time."
"I hear there's been a lot more attention and interest on those main, wonderful cancer charities, many of which I've been patron for years," King Charles continued while laughing.
"They do incredible work up and down the country," Sunak replied.
"They do, they do," the King agreed.
Their meeting was after the King Charles had a gathering of hisPrivy Council earlier in the afternoon.
