Derek Hough and his partner Hayley Erbert are making a triumphant return to the dance studio after a challenging period.

Erbert along with the Dancing with the Stars judge has made her return to a dance studio after three months of her emergency craniectomy.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the couple shared an adorable moment in a sweet joint post and penned a touching caption.

They captioned the post, "Stepping onto this blank canvas together. Beginning to paint again @hayley.erbert," the caption read.

The post featured a grayscale image of the pair, standing at the center of a dance floor.

In the shared photo, Erbert was seen delicately resting her head on Hough's shoulder while he embraced her with his arms.

Earlier Hough shared with PEOPLE that during the health crisis of his wife, the "most emotional" thing for them is the support from the people.

“The thing that really makes us — and really her — the most emotional about all of this is just the love that she felt from not just family and friends, but just from everyone. It's a really beautiful feeling and we're just really thankful for that," he said.

Soon after the couple announced their return to the dance studio, the fans couldn’t hold their excitement and filled the comment section with love and blessings.

One noted, “Beautiful. Continuing to pray for full healing and strength,” while another wrote, “I'm so happy that she's back! She is so magical and I absolutely love watching you two dance together. I can't wait to see you both in Idaho Falls.”
