King Charles set for public engagement following cancer diagnosis
King Charles will attend his first major event after he was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024
King Charles is making a significant return to public duties after his cancer diagnosis, as he is set to attend an Easter service at the chapel at Windsor Castle with Camilla on Sunday.
The appearance is going to be marked his first major event for Charles, 75 since he was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024.
However, Princess Kate and Prince William will miss the due to Catherine continuing with her cancer treatment.
The British Monarch has dealt with meetings and kept up his work as head of state.
But he missed the public events this year after he went through treatment for an enlarged prostate and later revealed that he had been diagnosed with a “form of” cancer.

During his attendance at the Easter service, King Charles will be accompanied by the Queen of Consort, Camilla.
The Princess of Wales released a video statement last week stating that she was receiving treatment for cancer.
She is currently continuing her recovery, and it has been announced that she will not be attending the Easter service at the church on the Windsor estate.
Prince William and their three children will also not be present at St George's Chapel on Sunday.
