King Charles played an important role in convincing his late mother, Queen Elizabeth to make her final balcony appearance during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

As per Mirror report, despite battling illness, the Queen surprised and delighted fans by showing up for the RAF fly-past, a decision spurred by an encouraging phone call from her son.

Royal expert, Historian Wesley Kerr said, "She wanted us to see her as the Queen. Trooping had been quite difficult and she stayed in the palace for some hours after Trooping which surprised me on the day."
