A passenger sitting in the wrong seat sparked a chain reaction of confusion and delays.

According to another passenger, the woman didn’t pay attention to her assigned seat and sat seven rows back. She was originally supposed to sit in 30B, a middle seat, but opted for the window seat 37F instead. This was explained in a Reddit post.

Instead of confronting the woman, the person assigned to 37F gave up their seat and looked for another one. This happened several times, the author noted, leading to a chain reaction where multiple passengers, who were overly polite to ask for their assigned seat, ended up in the wrong seats on the crowded flight.

The author of the post shared, "So the literal last guy on the plane has a window seat and only one middle is left."

Eventually, the flight attendants had to step in, the author shared. Once they noticed the issue, the crew traced passengers’ boarding passes from incorrect seat to incorrect seat until they identified the person responsible.

Flyers with similar experiences flooded the comments, expressing their outrage over the situation.

One comment pointed out, "These people know what they're doing," and encouraged others to speak up against inconsiderate passengers.
