Top UK nutritionist reveals one 'healthy' breakfast food to avoid
One of the leading British nutritionists reveals shocking list of foods to avoid

One of the leading British nutritionists exposed a shocking list of foods, which are widely considered "healthy," but in reality they aren't, warning people not to consume them.
Dr. Federica Amati, a nutrition expert behind the ZOE Diet, revealed that many so-called healthy foods are actually ultra-processed.
Based at Imperial College London, she claimed that products like multigrain snack bars and wholemeal bread may only appear healthy but may not be as good as they seem.
According to her, breakfast cereals are some of the worst products.
As she emphasised on the importance of identifying food, she advised people to properly recognize foods that appear and are marketed as healthy but actually contain hidden additives.
Unexpectedly, the nutritionist advised people to steer clear of low-calorie ice cream and lentil chips.
Dr. Amati highlighted the need to be mindful and highly aware of ultra-processed-foods (UPFs) that could be part of our everyday diet without realizing it.
However, instead of avoiding all UPFs, she suggested focusing on products high in sugar, salt, and saturated fats, low in fiber, and containing industrial additives like emulsifiers, sweeteners, and bulking agents.
