Robert Pattinson no longer part of DCU’s ‘Batman’?
Robert Pattinson starred in 2022’s The Batman

Robert Pattinson is officially out from DCU’s Batman franchise, however, its Batman film, Brave and the Bold.
The revelations were made during the latest press conference, where CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran provided updates to their DCU projects which was entirely different from their earlier announcement in 2023.
Their Batman film, Brave and the Bold, is yet to land its lead star which clearly means Pattinson, who starred in 2022’s The Batman as Bruce Wayne, will not be the part of upcoming project.
Gunn initially had plans to include the Mickey 17 actor’s Batman in the DCU. However, according to Gunn, it was director Matt Reeves’ choice to keep his film separate from the main DC universe.
As reported by FandomWire, the actor’s The Batman universe and the DCU's Batman will officially go in different directions after the latest announcement.
DCU’s Batman film, Brave and the Bold, will now move forward under the The Flash director, Andy Muschietti.
James Gunn and Peter Safran have read what Matt Reeves has written so far for The Batman 2 and shared that they loved the story.
According to Deadline, the storyline is pretty much what they announced earlier.
