Taylor Swift praises A.R. Rahman, saying 'His music touches the soul'
Pop-sensation Taylor Swift has sent her international fans into a major frenzy after expressing interest in A.R. Rahman’s Music.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, back in 2014, the 35-year-old global popstar was all praise of the 58-year-old Indian Musician
"I have heard a lot about AR Rahman. I think he is a fantastic musician. His music touches the soul. I would love to hear him perform live once," she remarked.
The Bad Blood songstress also expressed her love for the film industry Bollywood, commending it for its vast music and dances.
"Indian cinema has a lot of music and dance, which excites me. I think Indians share a big passion for song and dance in the movies which I love. It is a great way of connecting with the audience," she expressed fondly, speaking of the colourful and musical culture.
She didn’t say much about the acting due to the large language barrier, Taylor also expressed interest in singing a song for the films.
"I am not sure about acting since I don’t speak Hindi. But I would love to sing for a Bollywood movie," the Cruel Summer hitmaker excitedly stated.
