Robert Pattinson eyes major role in Timothee Chalamet's ‘Dune 3’?

Robert Pattinson is reportedly being eyed for a huge role in Dune 3 starring Timothee Chalamet.

A new report from Deadline has revealed that the makers of the highly-anticipated threequel titled, Dune: Messiah are considering the Batman 2 actor in a villainous avatar  who goes by the name of Scytale.

His character, as per Frank Herbert's Dune novels, challenges the rule of Atreides, played by Chalamet and threatens his rule over his fiefdom that was established in the first two movies.

Moreover, Dune and Dune Part Two director Denis Villeneuve will also return to the helm the upcoming movie.

The production of Dune 3 will start sometime this summer, with Legendary and Warner Bros. setting a December 18, 2026 release date.

If Pattinson does come aboard, he will join a cast that includes returning Dune and Dune Part Two stars, Chalamet, Zendaya and Florence Pugh.

On the professional front, Robert Pattinson, who was last seen in South Korean director, Bong Joon Ho’s sci-fi film, Mickey 17, will also return as Bruce Wayne aka Batman in The Batman II which will be released somewhere in 2027.
