Marvel drops 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' trailer

The first trailer of the sci-fi action Fantastic Four: First Steps has been released with Pedro Pascal playing Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby playing Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn depicting Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing Ben Grimm.

The story revolves around a retro-inspired 1960s parallel universe where Pascal and co, must save the world, handle family, and stop a planet-eating being known as Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and also his herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner).

In the trailer, Johnny embraces his sister Sue as she is pregnant and tells her, "You’re going to be the best mom ever!" Then, his focus diverts to Reed and he says, "And you’re going to be the best dad! Just kidding… you are way out of your depth."

The film is directed by WandaVision’s Matt Shakman, and also stars Sarah Niles, Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, and Paul Walter Hauser.

Moreover, the trailer shows the moment when the villain of the story comes face to face with the good guys, "Are you the protectors of this world?" asks Silver Surfer. "Yes, we are," admits Sue. "Your planet is now marked for death," warns Silver.

The trailer has gotten around 3 million views in just four hours.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to release on July 25.
