Lady Gaga suffers major malfunction during Coachella performance
The popstar headlined Coachella during its second weekend

Lady Gaga took the stage at Coachella during its second weekend on Friday, April 18, and came away with a technical faux pas while performing.
As the singer and actress proceeded to perform the second track Abracadabra during her headlining set at the huge musical gathering, her head mic malfunctioned and shut down mid-performance.
While Gaga performed through the set effortlessly following the glitch, with a mic in one hand and a cane in the other as she seamlessly followed the set choreography, she also reemerged with a new head mic later during the performance which went on without any further inconveniences.
Taking to the piano following the public mishap, the Grammy winner also shared, “I guess all we can do is our best and I’m certainly giving you my best tonight.”
Praising her live performance skills, Variety’s Senior Music Writer Chris Willman wrote, “The biggest difference between Gaga and some of the other performers at Coachella almost goes without saying: live singing.”
Lady Gaga ignited the Coachella stage for close to two hours during her headlining performance, which featured hits from her latest album Mayhem as well as past successes like Bad Romance.
