Victoria, David Beckham get cozy at British A-listers’ favourite country spot

Victoria and David Beckham are proud owners of multiple grand estates around the world, however, their £12 million Cotswolds property seems to be their recent favourite.

Footballing royalty, David shared a glimpse of his vegetable garden nestled within the luxurious premises on his Instagram.

The 49-year-old retired athlete proudly showed off his radishes via his official profile.

“Radish alert,” he captioned the footage.

Referencing Victoria’s remark about his choice of fashion in the video, he also sarcastically noted, “My wife’s hilarious,” followed by an emoji with a raised eyebrow.

“She just ate 5 of my radishes once washed of course,” the caption concluded.

Meanwhile, the Beckhams are not the only A-listers currently situated in the tranquil countryside of Cotswolds.

British royals like Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall have been known to spend time in the area as owners of their own respective properties.

Kate Moss and Simon Cowell are also amongst those who retreat to Cotswolds once they need a break from their bustling life in the public eye.

Estate agent Nicholas Rudge explained the appeal behind this particular country location to HELLO! Magazine.

“The Cotswolds has become hugely fashionable because money has poured out of London,” he revealed.

“The region is safe, it’s civilised, it’s protected; it can’t be overdeveloped, as it’s an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,” the professional further said.

It is important to note that an Area of Outstanding Beauty is a legally protected area in UK which is supposed to be preserved for conservation and is prohibitied for commercial purposes.

Victoria and David Beckham’s sprawling property in the Cotswolds includes many features such as a football pitch, swimming pool, as well as a gym.

“It’s beautiful there, so beautiful. We love it. We are very happy there. We’ve got chickens,” David enthusiastically revealed at a royal dinner earlier this year.
