Timothée Chalamet was noticeably absent from the Met Gala 2025, while his girlfriend Kylie Jenner made a solo appearance at the high-profile fashion event.

It is pertinent to mention that the couple who’ve been linked since April 2023, have been frequently seen together throughout awards season, often displaying affectionate moments.

However, this time Jenner walked the Met steps alone, dazzling in a custom body-hugging black Ferragamo gown. She was joined at the event by her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, as well as close friend Hailey Bieber.

The reason the Wonka actor missed the event was because he was busy enjoying watching a basketball game at home, keeping score as the New York Knicks faced off against the Boston Celtics.

Taking to his Instagram stories, he shared a photo of the game streaming on his tablet, along with a casual selfie of him wearing a gray hoodie, accompanied by friends during the game night.

The couple was recently sighted supporting the Los Angeles Lakers on April 30, where they were photographed exchanging hugs and kisses.

To note, the last time Timothée Chalamet attended the Met Gala was in 2021, and he has not made a return appearance since.
