Lady Gaga's Brazil concert: Authorities roll out shocking updates
Lady Gaga's Brazil concert marked itself safe from a planned attack on May 3

Brazilian authorities recently rolled out shocking updates on Lady Gaga's concert which faced uncertainty at Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach, Brazil.
As reported by EMERGE, in a latest update, the authorities might ban on popular chat app, Discord as it is said to be used in planning violence against LGBTQ+ attendees.
For the unversed, a planned attack on concert, which was attended by more than 2 million people, was foiled by the Brazilian cops that aimed the American singer’s LGBTQ following on May 3.
In this regard, Brazilian Deputy, Guilherme Boulos, formally requested the chat-app’s suspension last week.
According the country’s Federal Prosecution Body, “Discord lacks proper legal representation in Brazil”.
The app is making it nearly impossible for authorities to enforce content moderation rules.
Boulos, moreover, described the platform as a “breeding ground for hate acts by right-wing extremists”.
In his argument, he also pointed to other incidents beyond the concert plot, which included the live streaming of a homeless person's murder, and virtual rape.
Interestingly, the Bloody Mary hitmaker was unaware of the attack on the concert until the next day.
Lady Gaga's team claimed that they learned about the bomb threat only from media reports the morning after the concert.
