Kylie Jenner turns up the heat in Claudia Schiffer's red Chanel bikini

Kylie Jenner has made headlines again, this time by channelling the iconic fashion moment from the ‘90s. 

The influencer and businesswoman took the internet by storm when she posted an image of herself in a retro red Chanel bikini that supermodel Claudia Schiffer rocked on the runway over three decades ago.

The 27-year-old stated:  “In my eyes, that bikini is perfection.” 

The Kardashians star  captioned the post claiming that the bikini is, on average, valued at around £10,000. Schiffer's iconic role in one of Karl Lagerfeld's renowned shows captured the world, and Jenner decided to update the look on Instagram, where she married modern aesthetics with high-fashion nostalgia.

Jenner posted the look on Instagram, combining contemporary style with high-fashion nostalgia. The bikini stays true to Chanel’s designs, featuring gold accents and chain detailing.

Kylie’s fans, as well as fashion fans, swiftly compared Jenner with Schiffer, applauding Kylie’s tribute to the supermodel era, as well as paying tribute to many of Lagerfeld’s timeless designs. 

The post generated much attention from vintage fashion users and collectors, as the archival items from Chanel are becoming more relevant in our society.
