Cara Delevingne shares honest thoughts about Cannes 2025 dress code

Cara Delevingne recently revealed the reason why she didn’t follow the dress code at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, which was her first time being at the festival for a movie red carpet.

The 32-year-old model admitted that she was aware of the dress code but she was unable to fully comprehend it.

It is pertinent to mention that the prestigious festival prohibited nudity for "decency reasons."

Moreover, nobody was allowed to wear dresses with long trains, noting, "Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater are not permitted."

In response to the dress code, Cara confessed that she is "not that much of a train person."

"I didn't even know I wasn't a train person until you just said that. A train is effort. If I could have a train that I could then make into a hood so then I could run, that would be something, she said, adding, "But no, we didn't even think about [the dress code]."

Delevingne attended the first day of the festival wearing a floor-length red Miu Miu gown.

For her second day at the festival, Cara Delevingne attended the premiere of Colors of Time and donned a black strapless column gown.
